During 16 years of life without God, I had to go through a lot. It always seemed that I was superfluous in this life and was not needed by anyone. I had no real friends, and those who did, did not fully understand me and therefore did not consider me their friend. Time passed, I grew up. I began to write poems in which I expressed the depth of the pain and loneliness I felt.
At that time, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics collapsed and Ukraine became independent. Someone gave me a New Testament that encouraged me to seek God. But unfortunately, I was not really looking for Him, but looked at myself and considered myself worthless. There was a turning point in life, which put me with one foot in hell. I am sure that someone prayed very hard for me, but I don’t know who. Having no will to live, I decided to commit suicide and even had a date for myself. If God had not supernaturally intervened and given me a couple of days, then the devil would have won a great victory.
One person’s testimony that God loves and values me, and then my sincere repentance and experience of God’s love for me, which touched my being and entered my heart forever. This is the best thing in life that can be – to come to God as you are!
My attempts to get better and fix myself failed because it is impossible without God. But when I came to God in prayer, God not only began to change me, but also gave me the meaning and joy of life!
Jesus became not only my Lord and Savior, but the meaning of life and an ELDER BROTHER! And I found true and faithful friends.
Now I know where I am going, why I live, what I sing about, what I dream about, as written in one of my poems. And I began to use the gift of God as intended, when inspiration comes from Him. How wonderful it is to have a friend like JESUS who is always there and will never fail you or leave you!
This is what the power of a certificate means, which turns life around 180 degrees.
We are all called to serve, we are all children of the King.
My life credo is to do everything as for Christ.
My desire and goal is to fulfill my purpose.
My desire is to be a champion in Christ.
My dream is to see the smile of Jesus.
