I want to praise the Lord for His mercy. Many already know about the situation that happened to me five hours before the New Year. I got into a serious accident, but, thank God, I stayed alive. This event helped me to truly realize that our lives completely depend on the Lord.
Of course, we make our own choices every day, but there are moments when absolutely nothing depends on a person. When a car turns over and flies through the air into a ditch, you understand with all your soul: at that very moment everything is decided by God. Then I clearly felt that my fate is only in His hands.
Thank God that I am alive now and got away with only minor scratches. I was riding as a passenger, and although the car turned into a pile of scrap metal, we all remained alive and healthy. This incident made me look at the world with completely different eyes.
I am infinitely grateful to the Lord for the fact that I can stand here today, move and live. During the accident, there were many moments when I clearly understood: an angel was protecting us. There were trees growing around, but the car flew right where there was a free area. This is a real miracle, because in such disasters people often receive injuries incompatible with life. I thank God for the fact that He saved my life in the literal sense of the word.
