God is there even in the darkest moments. His presence does not depend on feelings – just come as you are.

The real and deep transformation of a person is not an external effort, but a process of renewing the mind from the inside out, which becomes possible thanks to immersion in the living, active and God-inspired Word of God, which reveals His perfect will, love and grace.

Our heart, filled with God’s peace and joy, becomes the source of a sincere smile, which is able to give relief, hope and grace to others even in a tense moment of everyday life.

Based on the example of the steadfast faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:17, this reflection reminds us that even in the midst of chronic pain or severe life trials, we can fully trust in the unchanging character of an almighty God who never leaves us and comforts us with His constant presence.
