Dear church, I congratulate you with all my heart on your birthday!
Twenty-five years ago, God gave birth to our church, and this birth became the reason for the salvation of many people. Over the years, the church has gone through different times – there have been times of rapid growth, there have been times of difficulty, there have been times when the Lord made big changes in the life of the church, and there have been times when it seemed like nothing much was happening. But the most important thing is that the Church of God’s Glory was and is a place where people meet the living God and, like many years ago, through it the Lord saves and gives a new beginning to those who need Him.
I am grateful to God for the honor and trust of being the pastor of our church at this time. Thank you, dear church, for your faithfulness to the Lord and desire to serve Him in everything. I am grateful to our dear missionaries Melvin and Cindy Adams for their invaluable contribution to the birth and development of our church. I am grateful to Pastor Dmitry Pasechnik and all the ministers in our church who invested in me and thanks to whom I began to serve God in general. There are many reasons to give thanks on this day, but the greatest gratitude to the Lord is you, dear church! It is you who show Christ to this world, and it is you who are the light and salt for those people who live next to us.
I would like to wish everyone on this wonderful day to continue to follow Christ, not to give up when it’s hard, but to always turn your gaze to heaven and your heart to God, who will support and give wisdom on how to move on.
I wish you, as the Apostle Paul wished in his time: “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called, and have made a good confession before many witnesses. Before God, who gives life to all, and before Christ Jesus, who bore witness to the good confession before Pontius Pilate, I command you to keep the commandment purely and blamelessly, even until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ…” (1 Tim. 6:12-14)
With love in Christ, Pastor Alexander.
