After four centuries of long silence, God broke the spiritual silence and filled the world with stormy joy, sending John the Baptist in the spirit of Elijah and incarnated in the long-awaited Messiah, who became a great gift of hope and redemption for humanity.

Even when life collapses in one unexpected moment and the heart breaks with pain and loneliness, Psalm 34:19 assures us that God is closer than we think, offering His supernatural peace and comfort through the Holy Spirit.

Based on the example of the steadfast faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:17, this reflection reminds us that even in the midst of chronic pain or severe life trials, we can fully trust in the unchanging character of an almighty God who never leaves us and comforts us with His constant presence.
