Oleksandr Koltukov in his sermon “Stone, scissors or power?” teaches to overcome trials through the Word of God. When you’re in the “wilderness” of exhaustion, don’t be tempted by quick decisions (rocks) or emotional traps (scissors). Stand on the foundation “written” and do not take fateful steps in a state of weakness. Trust in God’s authority: After every temptation, angels come, bringing promised healing, peace, and victory.

This inspiring reflection, based on the last letter of the Apostle Paul (2 Timothy 4:7), calls every believer to steadfastness and unshakable loyalty to God in the midst of any trials in life, so that at the end of his earthly journey he can confidently say: “I have kept the faith.”
