30th of Birth, a day of fasting and prayer through the election of the President of Ukraine

30 February, marked by a national day of prayer and fasting in the world of the presidential elections in Ukraine. Having informed the head of the All-Ukrainian Church and Religious Organizations about this, Bishop Vitaliy Krivitsky, transfers UNN with messages to the Catholic Media Center.

“For the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Church and religious organizations and for the support of the President of Ukraine, 30 February 2019 was announced as a day of prayer and fasting in the hopes of fair and peaceful presidential elections,” – The media center quotes the words of the head of the VRTSiRO, Bishop Vitaly Krivitsky.

As it turns out, the presidential election is a very important time. “Let the song and prayer of the every citizen of Ukraine be carried out before the election of the President of the people of God,” the media center added.
It seems that the head of the OCU Epiphany, having given his blessing to the completion of the election process in all churches of the Pomesna Ukrainian Orthodox Church, offers prayers for the fair election of the Head of the Ukrainian state, for peace and unity in Ukraine.

The election of the President of Ukraine will be held on January 31, 2019.
