A vision realized

Are you planning? How important are your plans to you? Are you ready to do everything to make your plans come true? These are very important questions to answer for yourself. If you don’t plan anything ahead today, then circumstances and people will dictate what you do and how you live. And even if you plan today to achieve something in the new year, then in this case you will have to pay the price for your plans to become a reality.
Why do I say this because God himself plans and plans thousands of years in advance. And He not only has good plans, but He also does everything He can to make those plans come true!
Does God’s plans ever go wrong? Yes it happens. But even in this case, God always has a plan to fix everything. “And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle and above all the beasts of the field; on your belly you will go, and you will eat dust all the days of your life; and I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it will bruise your head, and you will bruise its heel.” (Gen.3:14,15)
God didn’t create sin. He did not create man as a sinner. But when the first man violated God’s plan, then God began to implement the greatest plan to save people. Did Adam and Eve understand God’s plan? Not likely. Has Satan fully understood how God plans to deal with sin? No.
It is important for us to have the right plans. It is important for us to know the plans that the Lord has for us.
“For only I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer.29:11)
“For the Lord God does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
Scripture says that God’s intentions, His plans, are the best for us. And God wants us to know His plans for our lives. For what? So that we can implement these plans.
“His plans are the best for us!”
God’s plan is for us to have fellowship with Him and for nothing to separate you and me from our Creator.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; the government is upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government and peace on the throne of David and in his kingdom, so that He may establish it and strengthen it with judgment and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” (Isa.9:6,7)
This is why our Savior was born. This is what Christmas is all about. Christmas is not a date, it is not decorations on the streets and our houses. Christmas is the birth of God’s Son into this world, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
It is important for us to entrust our lives to God. It is important for us to allow God to be our Father. We all need parents. Christ needed earthly parents. I was very worried that my parents divorced and I really missed my father’s care. Many of my most memorable moments are the times my father spent time with us, taking us on vacations and going fishing with me.
What do you and I need to do? It is important for us to accept Christ. Not just as a fact, not just as a cute baby. We need to accept Him as Lord and Savior. It is important for us to take a step of faith, as our adoptive father Joseph once did. Yes, he also needed to believe in Christ and it was not so easy for him:
“The birth of Jesus Christ was like this: after the betrothal of His Mother Mary to Joseph, before they were united, it turned out that She was pregnant with the Holy Spirit. Joseph, Her husband, being righteous and not wanting to make Her public, wanted to secretly let Her go. But when he thought this, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said: Joseph, son of David! Do not be afraid to accept Mary your wife, for what is born in her is from the Holy Spirit; and she will give birth to a Son, and you will call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matt. 1:18-21)
Not everything in life will happen the way we planned or imagined for ourselves. But if we are not afraid and accept Christ as our Lord, then God’s plans and intentions will begin to come true in our lives. And this is the best for you and me.
“The Lordship of Christ will definitely influence your plans and your life.”
Many people today ask the question: “Where is God? Why doesn’t He bless me, why doesn’t He protect me? Why don’t I understand how to live?” But the most correct question is: “Have I accepted Christ? Have I allowed Him to be my Lord and God’s purposes to be accomplished in my life?
How can I practically allow God’s plans to be realized in my life? It is important to start truly spending time with God by reading the bible and praying. It is important to plan how and with what you will serve God. For this, you also need to set aside time to learn and build relationships with those people with whom you plan to serve together.
