When God opens doors

When God closes one door, he opens another; but we often don’t notice it, staring at the closed door…

“And write to the angel of the Philadelphian church: Thus says the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one will open: I know your works; Behold, I have opened a door before you, and no one can shut it…”(Revelations 3:7-8)
The messages of the Book of Revelation are addressed to Angels, that is, in other words, to God’s messengers, pastors. 7 messages written to 7 pastors. You and I have read a message addressed to the pastor of a church in Philadelphia. In it, God says that He opens doors, and He closes them. I want you to listen carefully to what he was told, because everything is written for our instruction, so says the Word. Therefore, when re-reading, do not forget to put your name. So Jesus says to the pastor of the Philadelphia church, “I know your heart. You are a patient person. You love Me. But you are weak. I want you to understand something: I am the One who opens doors and closes them.” This pastor was faced with a problem – most likely, some doors were closed in front of him. He went one way – the doors were closed; the other way is also closed; wherever he went, whatever he did, the doors were closed. He ran into a problem. The Lord was concerned about this man. And I would like to ask you a question: are the doors closed to you today? You pray for God to answer, but nothing happens. What are you praying for? What do you want to receive from the Lord? God says, “I know your heart. I know that you love me. I’m not mad at you. But you need to understand something: you cannot push the door to open it; no one can open the door for you. You can’t force her to open up. Only I am the One who opens doors and closes them.”
Our life is arranged in such a way that God opens some doors for us and closes others. And if God has opened them, you need to enter. If God has closed the entrance to somewhere, then you need to look for other doors.

And you and I know that open doors are a signal to action. When you communicate with a person you like and see that this person opens the doors of his heart for you, then this is a signal for you to enter this door. I think that refusing to walk into a door that is open to you is somewhat offensive. Let’s talk a little about these spiritual doors that God opens for us.

“For a great and wide door is open to me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Cor. 16:9)
The most interesting thing is that when God talks about doors, open doors, then the devil will definitely try to put some dogs on a chain that will bark, that will scare, that will try to stop you from entering these doors. Where doors open, many enemies appear. Yes, you would not have opponents if the door were not open to you!

You wonder: “Why on earth are there so many enemies, so many enemies, so many spiteful critics?! Why?” Because God has opened some door for you. Thousands of people nearby live a quiet life. They don’t have many enemies because there are no open doors for them. But therefore they have no future. And a great door is open before you.
If the doors are open, that means we must enter. If God opened some doors, it was not so that you could be carried through those doors feet first. I know for sure that if God opened doors for me, then I will enter these doors with my own feet. If God opens doors for you, this does not mean that God set an ambush for you so that near these open doors you will be disgraced or destroyed. Well, I don’t believe in that! Do you know why? Because Jesus in His person connects the way and the door. Jesus said, “I am the way you should walk. And I am also the door: whoever enters through Me will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9).
What about the opponents?! And opponents are not taken into account. If the adversaries stand against Jesus, who is the way, Jesus will put them to shame. And if these opponents push their way through this door, then God will come against them, and they will forget the way there. Remember how the Lord once opened a “door” for the Israelites in the sight of their enemies – the Red Sea. He opened up the depths of the sea – and the people of Israel walked along the bottom of the sea as if on a road. And when Pharaoh tried to pass there, the Lord slammed these sea gates at the deepest place, and they were all swallowed up by the depths of the sea.
Well, where have you seen God’s blessing without confrontation?! If God’s blessings were worthless, there would be no confrontation. But the devil has more faith in God’s blessings than you and I. Therefore, he, believing in these great blessings, tries to cut off our oxygen. He’s just trying to trip him up and say, “You’re not going in there!” But God says to you today: “I have opened a door before you, and no one can shut it…”
